When a homeowner in County Armagh got in touch with Glass Balustrades Ireland, they had a clear vision — a clean, modern glass balustrade for their outdoor space that would open up the view without compromising on safety or style. Here’s how we made it happen, from our workshop in Newcastle, Co. Down, straight to their door.
The Brief
The customer needed a glass balustrade for their garden patio — a substantial job totalling 10 panels of bespoke toughened glass. They wanted stainless steel posts for a classic, low-maintenance finish that would work year-round in the Irish climate.
As with all Glass Balustrades Ireland orders, this was a supply only job. No installer, no day rates — just quality materials, cut to exact size, delivered and ready to bolt down.
What We Supplied
Every order we process is cut to the customer’s exact measurements at our Co. Down workshop. For this Armagh installation we supplied:
10 panels of 10mm toughened clear glass — each panel cut, edged and labelled individually
Stainless steel cap posts — pre-boxed, simply unbox and bolt straight to the surface
The Result
The customer sent us photos of the finished install and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The 10mm glass sits perfectly between the stainless posts on a grey porcelain tiled patio — clean lines, unobstructed views, exactly what a modern garden space should look like.
The whole job was completed by the customer themselves over a weekend. No specialist tools, no trades to coordinate — just the confidence that comes from having materials that are made right the first time.
